Continuing Trichology Education (CTE)™ credits will be awarded for such activities as serving in leadership positions in the WTS (such as professorships and advisory boards), writing of trichological articles for publication, speaking at a recognized trichology event (either in person or online), attending a trichological or hair science conference/workshop, reading the monthly newsletters among other things (a more detailed account of CTE® credits can be found at CTE® Info).

To maintain this status, the trichologists must continue to meet established educational criteria each calendar year.
