The World Trichology Academy (WTA) is an educational institution dedicated to raising the educational standards of trichology through programs and continuing education opportunities, leading to improved hair health worldwide.

Together, with the World Trichology Society (WTS), the organization is committed to help the hair care industry to broaden their employee education in the trichology field to improve productivity and increase client satisfaction.

To this end, the WTA presently offers one vocational Certified Trichologist program, which is licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education, Florida Department of Education. The program is available entirely online, though in person Clinical Training is available to interested individuals.

The WTA, in conjunction with the WTS also offers post-Certification continuing education opportunities including:

  • Trichology Certification for Medical Professionals,
  • Fundamentals in Trichology,
  • Society membership features including monthly newsletters,
  • Additional classes and webinars,
  • alumni and employer networking opportunities, and
  • seminar and conference events.
